The Mole is a reality competition in which the contestants work as a group to add money to a pot. Among the contestants is one person who has secretly been designated “the Mole”, tasked with sabotaging the group’s money-making efforts. At the end of each round, the contestant who knows the least about the Mole, as determined by the results of a quiz, is eliminated from the game. The last contestant standing wins the game and the money in the pot.
If you’re a fan of board games, social deduction, and puzzles, this is the game for you!

FAQ
How does the game work?
Players will travel to a rented house in the greater Seattle area where they will sleep, eat, and participate in tasks and quizzes. Throughout the weekend, they will be gradually eliminated until a winner is declared and the Mole is revealed! Production will provide housing, meals and a weekend of gaming, sightseeing and fun!
How do I participate?
Applications are open now; fill out the Google form below to apply! We will ask prospective players to participate in a 30-45 minute interview, which will be used to determine our cast (and Mole).
If I apply, am I guaranteed to play?
Unfortunately this event has a limited player count, and our goal is to create a cast of players who will interact in unique and complementary ways. As such, we cannot guarantee spots to all who apply, but we encourage anybody not selected to join our Facebook group and apply for future events!
What does it cost to play?
Our game will have a cost to participate.
Included in the cost:
An immersive Mole experience (even if you’re eliminated you will still be included in the game)
Seattle adventures
Housing (with a hot tub)
Onsite meals
Challenge materials
Swag, if we decide to go that route
Winner prizes
There may be additional fees that we are still working out pertaining to food offsite.
We expect the cost to be around $500 per person. We will ask for payment before the game begins. If payment is not received by a certain date (TBD), we may ask an alternate to take your place.
Why does the game have a cost?
Tragically, we live under capitalism. To put on a game like this requires money. These funds will be used to, among other things: book a rental house, purchase food for all players and production members, buy materials for challenges and provide a cash prize for the winner. We assure you that this is not a profit-making venture for us, and that all money is being used first and foremost to provide a high-quality experience for all participants.
What does the game schedule look like?
Players will be asked to arrive in the area on Thursday, September 11; if necessary, we will provide transport from the airport or train station to the venue. From Friday through Sunday, we aim to begin the game around 9am and finish between 9-10pm. Players are free to stay up after the game concludes for the day to socialize. All participants will depart on Sunday night or Monday morning.
Policies
Safety Policy
Our team is dedicated to providing a safe environment where everyone is treated with dignity and respect. Harassment or unwelcome conduct is strictly prohibited.
The production team will intervene and take appropriate action if participants behave in a way that we consider is unacceptable. The form of intervention we take will depend on the seriousness of the incident in question.
Unacceptable behavior includes:
Behaving in a way that could cause serious offense to either participants or members of the viewing public (including serious offense based on the grounds of age, disability, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, or beliefs)
Serious harassment or abusive behavior directed at another participant, including bullying
Violent behavior towards any other participant (including threats of violence and actual violence) or other violent act
Actions likely to endanger the safety of any other participant
Damaging the house or its contents
Any other matter which production considers serious enough to warrant an intervention and punishment
Harassment includes, but is not limited to, sexual or discriminatory images in public and quasi-public spaces, intimidation, stalking, following, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. Harassment may take the form of comments, epithets, slurs, discriminatory or insensitive jokes, teasing, display or discussion of written or graphic material, repeatedly standing too close to or brushing up against a person, or giving gifts of an unwanted or sexual nature. Advocating or encouraging any of the above is also considered harassment.
Violations of the safety policy may include, but are not limited to, formal warnings, removal of the offending players from the premises without refund, permanent bans from future PNW events, and contacting the authorities. No refunds of any kind will be granted.
Health Policy
We want to try to mitigate risks for the immunocompromised. Players must be willing and able to fulfill both of the following requirements before the game begins:
A COVID vaccination or booster on or after September 2024
A negative COVID test within 24 hours of arrival.
Alcohol & Marijuana Policy
Our game is not intended to be a raging party. We want to maintain a focused and enjoyable atmosphere for all participants. While active in the game, consumption of alcohol or marijuana will be strictly prohibited. Once eliminated from the game, light and responsible use is permitted, but excessive consumption is unacceptable. Any individual who abuses this policy and disrupts the event will be asked to leave. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a positive experience for everyone involved.
Phones & Internet Access
We will ask our contestants to turn over their phones, tablets, etc. once the game begins on Friday morning. You will receive your device back when you are eliminated. We will allow players to make requests, but the overall purpose of the policy is to avoid outside influence, since we will likely have game footage up on social media with comments enabled.
